October | National Dental Hygiene Month
Good dental health is a culmination of many different factors like diet, brushing technique, type of brush, regular dental check-ups and attention to detail!
Here Are 4 Signs of A Healthy Mouth:
1. No Gum Bleeding – If you notice that your gums are bleeding less while brushing, it is a sign that your oral health has improved.
2. Fresh breath – Your breath should smell neutral or fresh, indicating that bad bacteria which cause tooth decay have been largely eliminated.
3. Teeth surfaces feel smooth – If your teeth feel smooth then you’re on the right track, but if you experience rough textures especially in hard-to-reach places it could be a sign that your teeth are not being brushed properly.
4. Fewer tooth-decay related issues – When you start to notice fewer toothaches, fewer visits to the dentist for serious dental procedures, and visibly cleaner teeth, you can give yourself a gold star for doing a better job at taking care of your teeth!
