What does “impacted” mean?
It means the your wisdom teeth are pushing your other teeth forward trying to create room for themselves. As a result, this creates spaces for food to become trapped; it can also increase your risk of infection and decay. This is why we often recommend that our patients have their wisdom teeth removed.
