Over the last ten years the proportion of people age 60 who had lost all their teeth had decreased from 33% to 25%!
One of the contributing factors to this “good news,” is the education about the importance of daily oral and the emphasis on how vital fluoride and dental check-ups and cleanings are for our teeth. The more we spread the word on prevention and the opportunities we have to fight against cavities and gum disease, the better off we are.
